My engagement ring.

My finance bought an amethyst engagement ring, its not traditional, and its not a diamond, and he didn’t spend 3 thousand dollars on it. I didn’t want a diamond, I am a modest and simple girl. I asked him to buy me something that he thought would represent not only myself but us as well. He proposed in February which is the the month of the amethyst, and purple is my favorite color. It’s different, simple, and modest. It may not look like an engagement ring, but we both know what it represents.
